Main Quest

Task

The player characters are tasked with rescuing several residents of Willowshore who were abducted from the Willowshore Stables by faceless monsters known as noppera-bos. These victims were marched west to an abandoned lumber camp near the source of the Ceiba River.

Challenge

Infiltrate the Camp: Players must navigate or clear the lumber camp of noppera-bo.
Free the Stables Owner: Locate and rescue Kum Soon-chong.
Rescue the Captured Farmers: Liberate four abducted farmers held in a makeshift cage within a warehouse-like building used as a throne room by the rebel leader Mugirou.
#secret Save the Final Sacrifice: Reach a ritual site at the “Wall of Ghosts” to prevent the execution of Meng-sung, the stables owner’s son, before a dark consecration rite is completed.

Reward

Reputation: Rescuing Kum Soon-chong earns 1 Reputation Point with both the Northridge and Southbank factions. Returning all abductees safely to Willowshore earns an additional 3 Reputation Points with both factions.
#secret Magical Equipment: The grateful farmers will deliver a crafter’s eyepiece to the party one day after they return home safely.
Town Morale: Upon the successful rescue of the villagers and the defeat of the camp’s leadership, Willowshore’s effective level increases to 5, reflecting the town’s growing confidence and recovery.
